Rocket Pitch Session
Have a great business idea? Have a special talent for pitching yourself or your business idea? Join us for NetworkBash Engage for a Rocket Pitch Session at Self Auditorium at the Strom Thurmond Institute.
24 students will be chosen from all submitted applications to participate in a evening “Rocket Pitch” session, competing for $1500 in total prizes. Each person has two minutes to pitch in front of a panel of judges and a live audience of their peers. Each category wins $250 and the People Choice Award Winner walks away with a total of $1000. Bottom line, each student has a 1 in 24 chance to win $1000.
Here are the three categories:
1) How Can I Change The World – PITCH – What is your idea to make the world a better place? We are looking for the next wave of leaders to empower a better tomorrow.
2) What Is My Greatest Idea – PITCH – What business idea do you have? Are you an entrepreneur and want to pitch your business? We are listening and would love to hear business idea.
3) How Can I Make The World Smile – TALENT SHOW – Everyone has talent and everyone wants to inspire others. What talent do you have that can makes the world smile? You have 2 minutes to make us smile.
Your pitch will be judged on three criteria.
1. Originality
2. Creativity
3. Strength of persuasion
The talent portion will be judged on three separate criteria.
1. Skill level
2. Stage presence
3. Audience engaging
